Dubai is split by the Dubai Creek. These small ferry boats ply from one side to the other. It cost me tripple price to go across with my bike

Dubai City of Contrasts

The city on Dubai Creek was more interesting and attractive than I had expected for a city in the desert. Third world Dhow boat shipping exists along site modern commerce.
